Meet Dr. Jureyda

Being an Orthodontist is a dynamic expression of my dedication and commitment to help my fellow human beings reach their full potential.

The center of my world is not the teeth, but the person behind the smile.

Indeed, a sincere, gorgeous smile reflecting the joy of the soul, and the confidence of the mind, will exude optimism and engage others.

Radiance Orthodontics

Simply put, our patients deserve the best, and we are ready to help.

Education

  • Doctorate of Dental Medicine – Boston University School of Dental Medicine
  • Certificate of Specialty in Orthodontics – Howard University College of Dentistry
  • Clinical fellowship in Orthodontics – University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, Department of Orthodontics.

Teaching Experience

I strongly believe that educators illuminate the path for others to grow, develop, and prosper. This belief was the driver behind my long-term commitment to serving as an Assistant Professor in the Graduate Department of Orthodontics at the University at Buffalo, prior to moving to private practice in Florida.

Continuing Education

After more than 25 years in Orthodontics, including teaching at the Graduate level, I still believe that it is only with constant learning that we can be at the cutting edge of clinical practice.

My ongoing commitment is to provide patients with current proven materials and techniques that will get them the best results with the most comfort.

Orthodontics is a dynamic specialty, with new technologies and materials requiring a constant updating of clinical skills and practice protocols.

As an active member of the  American Association of Orthodontics, I maintain an opportunity to learn from opinion leaders about the most contemporary technologies and future directions in this field.

Professional Memberships

I also maintain membership in state and local orthodontic organizations that offer regional meetings that host notable lecturers:

  • American Association of Orthodontists
  • Southern Association of Orthodontists
  • Florida Association of Orthodontists

Beyond the Office

I am blessed with a loving family. My wife of more than 25 years, Marah, and I have three children: D.J. is in high school, while Z.J. and O.J. are pursuing careers in the medical and dental fields. We moved to Tampa in late 2005 from Buffalo, NY, to be closer to family and friends, and immediately fell in love with the Tampa Bay area and all that it offers!

My commitment to education never waivered, and I have been fortunate to be able to support our local schools on several levels, from PTA business partnerships, to student scholarships emphasizing community service. I was also privileged to be admitted as a board member of the Education Foundation of the Learning Gate Community School in Lutz, Florida. I am humbled and honored by the opportunity to participate in supporting our children prepare for their bright and successful futures.

"Givers Gain" is a concept I live by and uphold, and I found it well respected in the BNI business group, of which I am proud to be a member, belonging to Business Leaders Chapter in New Tampa. BNI thrives on connecting people together to help communities and businesses in the same time.

When I’m not wearing my Orthodontist hat, I’m often at home helping around the house in my handy man role. Recently, I found myself gravitating to the backyard where I get a great deal of pleasure in gardening. I love the outdoors and can frequently be found hiking, biking, or just meditating lakeside.

Gardening is a lot like Orthodontics: I care for plants that start small and then grow and bloom, much as I care for smiles and nurture them as they blossom with radiant confidence and happiness.
